THREAT TO FREE SPEECH MOVES TO THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Although the language that would effectively "gag" conservative "grassroots lobbying organizations" from informing their membership of critical issues pending before the U.S. Congress was stricken from the so-called "lobbying reform bill" (S.1) , it is expected that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Liberal Majority in the House will attempt to restore this unprecedented assault on free speech, either through an amendment to another piece of legislation, or by introducing a "free-standing" bill which incorporates the "grassroots lobbying" language.

The ability of the American people to be informed about critical issues and to communicate their views with their elected officials stands at the very heart of our fundamental freedoms and liberties that our Founding Fathers sacrificed their very lives to provide and protect.

It is imperitive that every conservative American contacts their U.S. Representative and urge him/her to oppose any amendment or legislation that would restrict "grassroots lobbying organizations" from informing their membership on vital issues that are being considered by our so-called elected offficials. To do any less, threatens the most basic and fundamental of our freedoms and liberties!!
