A Matter of Local Interest- But Greater Implications are Significant

Republicans and Conservatives for America

In Tuesday's Primary Election, the voters and taxpayers of Lancaster County rejected a referendum question to authorize a 1/4 mill tax assessment to fund the county library system. And although this issue concerns the citizens of Lancaster County, the bigger implications, in my opinion, are noteworthy.

And please do not misunderstand what I am saying. I'm not saying that I oppose supporting our public libraries, because I do not--BUT I DO OPPOSE THE TAXPAYER FOOTING THE BILL!

But enough about the local issue, because there is a greater issue at hand and that is: IF THE PEOPLE SPEAK, THE POWERS THAT BE WILL LISTEN, and it won't just affect the folks in one county in Pennsylvania, it will reach across the State and our Nation. Think of the possibilities!
