Recently in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, a young mother, Donna Busch, was looking forward to spending the day with her kindergarten-aged son at his school (Culbertson Elementary) during “Me Week”. She had been invited by his classroom room teacher to participate in the day allowing children to learn more about a featured student, which involves the student's parent reading aloud from a favorite book in class. Her day turned out to be anything but rewarding and what’s more became a confusing experience for her son you see because her son's favorite book is the Bible.
Ms. Busch was stopped and advised by the teacher that she would have to get permission from the principal before she would be allowed to read from the bible. After a meeting between Ms. Busch, the teacher and the principal outside the classroom, Ms Busch was told that she would not be permitted to continue because "that would be against the law", according the principal.
"What Wesley has learned in all of this is that the Bible is bad in school, and they don't like it," Donna Busch said of her 6-year-old son.
A pattern of Christian discrimination has been growing in our public school systems since the 1960’s and it has become evident by the general acceptance of public displays of other religion’s articles of faith but a complete ban on Christian beliefs, that the liberals and atheists in our society are not content on simply removing God just from schools.
Busch is suing in suburban Philadelphia claiming it is infringing on her right to express her religious beliefs — and discriminating against Christians. Her complaint alleges the Bible-reading ban is part of a pattern of discrimination against Christians. Students were allowed to read a book about Judaism, learn about the dreidel game, and make Hanukkah decorations — but were prohibited from making Christmas decorations..
We support Ms Busch in her fight to bring religious freedom back to all Americans. The Constitution protects us from just this sort of behavior. The article provides freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion

Hey conservative: Just a thought--Isn't interesting how quiet some folks have gotten after your "open post?"
I was thinking the same thing D, It proved to me that some people simply come to these sites to cause trouble or to get a reaction. We're just not going to give them the satisfaction any more
TO WHICH I SAY AMEN!!
