Did Michael Jackson's celeberty status play a role in his acquital in child molestation charges? I have my thoughts, but I'd like to hear what everyone else is thinking on this subject!

Political parties have stolen the heart of the American people. We intend to build a network of true American patriots who seriously value Liberty and Freedom and understand that these gifts do not come without sacrifice.

I think he did something. I also think the "victims" trumped up part of it (or most of it) - I'm frankly not surprised either but he's gotten a new lease on life and he better realize it.
Minding the Fort says:
I think he was guilty of VERY bad judgement, not of molestation. He's never really been a part of the REAL world and I think his innocent nature did not allow him to think that the rest of us would view his sharing of a bed as questionable to say the least. Again I say VERY bad judgement.

Unfortunately ,people gifted with such amazing creative genius, often lack a good balance of common- sense.
I am going to assume you mean - the second time he got out of taking responsibility bad,....

No, not a fan. He was tried by a jury and found to be innocent on ALL counts. His career will pay for his bad judgemnet.
To badsign42-I almost forgot this type of "thing," is not new to Jacko. Thanks for the reminder.
To Minding the Fort--and if he wasn't a rich celeberty his "back-side" would be sitting in a jail cell right now!!
to badsign42; Point very well taken-Not Guilty is not a synonym for Innocent. Thanks for pointing out the difference.
badsign-
A lawyer? This is going to get very interesting...............
Badsign: As a "lawyer" you must agree that the proscecution sis a terrible job presenting this case. There was not nearly enought to convict. Their witnesses were shakey at best.
I believe that MJ is a child molester to the Nth degree. i also believe that the jury, if given quality supporting testimony, would have found him guilty.
The procecuting attny has been trying to catch MJ on these charges for years. The first case against him was much stronger and had MJ not been able to buy a settlment ($20 million mind you) he probably would have been found guilty of these charges years ago.
To badsign42--See what you started by admitting you are a lawyer. I hope no one knows that line from Shakespeare. I think you know the one I mean?
LMAO!!!!!
