Congrats David,
Thanks for pointing out the obvious. Anybody who takes a look at the global markets knows that gas in these countries is always 2-3 times the cost of the US. Your local dial up network finally gave you access to the rest of the globe??? :-) F/U
Just can't pass up the chance to take a cheap shot. I post items that I think will be of mutual interest to the individuals who visit this blog site. If all you can do is nit-pick, you are really not worth responding to. And if the F/U means what I think it does-You should be ashamed of youself. It shows what a small mind you really have.
FU ? I assume you meant Foriegn Utilities Anon!
"If all you can do is nit-pick, you are really not worth responding to." Yet your enormous ego, and need to preach, forced your fingers to the keyboard. F/U = Fancy Underpants. Sorry.
Anon: (Speaking for myself here - no on else)
Regardless of how you personally interpret it, the bible is a resource book not unlike the dictionary or encyclopedia. People use it for all type of discussion ... it shouldn't always be interpreted or misconstrued as preaching.
Secondly, its not the size of the ego its how you use it :)
PA - just to clarify, neither Mr. Bowie nor I mentioned the Bible. Nor did we use it for reference in this discussion. Never the less, here comes the bible.
Preaching is preaching. I find it ironic that within Mr. Bowie's pissy little reply, he says I am not worth a reply. Yet we are up to the 7th posting in reference to my "not worthy coments." It just speaks volumes to his need for verification.
One last thing, before you bash me for posting anon, what happened to your profile D.C.? You are the one with all this resolve in your positions yet you have chosen to hide your identity.
I hide nothing - If my profile is now somehow unviewable - it is news to me...
No sweat, just an observation.
There's that cute mug..glad you are back. :-)
OK - so now what is your excuse -
Got rid of the picture -
LOL
Like to say it takes longer for comments to load but the real reason is that I hate the picture... :)
With good reason... not exactly flattering. Hey, gotta get to work. Have a good day.
catchya later - GET AN ID!
LOL - sort of
OK Here's my very last word on this topic--and Anonymous-this is a "general" comment and NOT directed to you, so spare me the rhetoric about preaching and/or pulpit-pounding.
What I find ironic is the need for some to name-call rather then engaging in discussion, which is the whole point behind this blog site.
Another thing I find ironic, for lack of a better term, is the degree of hostility and acrimony contained in those comments, not to mention the sporadic inappropriate language, or references which absolutely detracts from the commenters position and contributes nothing to the discussion process. I seem to remember another "commenter" doing the very same thing a couple of months ago
Let's try to keep comments "on point" and leave all the hostility out of the debating process.
To F/U who would have thought that would be someone's username? Gotta be a little careful though it could be misinterpreted as something else! LOL!
From Minding the Fort:
Mr. Bowie,
You skip the "Pomp", and we'll stick to the "Circumstance". :)
Here's a revelation Fort--You can't have things both ways. You can pull the bullet back after you've fired the gun, nor can you cry foul when someone returns the shot. It's not "pomp" as you say, nor is it preaching or pulpit-pounding, it's just reality pure and simple!
