Supreme Court Justice O'Connor Retiring

The fight begins!

With the announced retirement of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, the battle for the soul of the United States begins. O'Connor, a supporter of abortion rights, announced her retirement today. In addition to O'Connor, Justice Reinquist is also expected to retire as chief justice. This retirement (Reinquist) wasn't an anticipated a fight due to his current conservative positions. This retirement of O'Connor though presents the first opportunity for Pro-Life supporters to overturn Roe v. Wade and you can expect a huge fight for this replacement seat.
