With criticism continuing to grow concerning the fitness of Harriet E. Miers to succeed Sandra Day O'Connor on the United States Supreme Court, this individual believes that it is time for the Administration to "cut its losses" and "86" this nomination and save her and the country of the embarrassment of the possibility of being rejected by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Although her lack of judicial experience is being downplayed by some, it's cause for more than a little concern. The seriousness and complexity of the issues that are facing America do not lend itself to allowing for a learn-as-you-go process, especially where Supreme Court Justices are concerned.
With confirmation hearings set to begin on November 7th, the possibility that Miers will survive this process is dubious at best.
From where I sit, the issues are just too serious and the consequences too high to sit back and roll the dice on an uncertain nomination. The American people deserve better!

This woman is a loose canon. She is so all over the board it tends to make one thing that pre-Bush Governor of Texas she was a moderate Democrat and after seeing the change of winds in Texas at the time she "Changed her tune" to fit the dance.
Seems like if you look at the record overall - She says and does what the political winds call for at the time. Doesn't say much for her willingness to stand her ground in the SC
