THEY DID THE RIGHT THING BUT?????

In response to an overwhelming ground-swell of protest from the people of Pennsylvania, the General Assembly did a complete 180 and repealed the full pay raise they granted themselves this past July. The vote in the Senate was a unanimous 50-0 and the House vote was 196-2. I'm very curious who the 2 N0 votes were?

As the title to this posting suggests, our so-called Leaders did the right thing, albeit somewhat late, but the voters should by no means leave them off the hook for their original lapse of judgment and expression of greed.

And let's not forget their confederates in the State Supreme Court, specifically Justices Sandra Schultz Newman and Russell Nigro who are up for a retention vote this coming Tuesday November 8, 2005.

Just so voters understand a little about this process, Newman and Nigro are NOT running against another candidate, THIS IS A SIMPLE YES OR NO VOTE REGARDING WHETHER OR NOT THESE FOLKS GET ANOTHER 10 YEARS ON THE PENNSYLVANIA SUPREME COURT.

SEND A CLEAR AND UNAMBIGUOUS MESSAGE ON NOVEMBER 8TH:

VOTE NO ON RETENTION FOR NEWMAN AND NIGRO

The action of the General Assembly, last evening proves that if the people speak--THEY WILL LISTEN --Even though they were forced to!!
