PENNSYLVANIA--THY NAME IS HYPOCRITE!!!!

As I look back over this year, that is rapidly coming to a close, nothing stands out in my mind more than the hypocritical and arrogant actions of those individuals that call themselves leaders, and this distinction is extended to both our State and Federal Legislators, and of course "Fast Eddie" Rendell.

Why am I being so hard on these folks?? That's easy-- because they deserve it!

When a group of individuals who entrusted with the "power" of leadership vote for astronomical pay increases, that are undeserved, and do so in a manner that blatantly violated the State Constitution and attempt to rationalize their arrogance and greed, you get no sympathy from this individual-pure and simple!

Next I have to wonder about the logic of a decorated Viet-Nam veteran, in the person of U.S. Representative Jack Murtha calling for an immediate withdrawal of our troops from Iraq. Even more important I must also question what our esteemed Governor is thinking given his endorsement of Murtha's statement.

Let me ask Smiling Jack and "Fast Eddie" one question: What do you propose we do as a Nation--wait for another terrorist attack and then decide to take action to protect our homeland and bring the terrorists to justice, one way or the other? Well I guess I have more than one question, but I doubt that there will be any answers.

Our so-called Leaders have been talking out of both sides of their collective mouths for too many years, so much so that the folks they are supposed to represent have no clue as to whether or not they should be believed.

One thing is for certain, as a direct result of the pay raise debacle, our Legislators, both Federal and State will be under a gigantic microscope, and every word that is spoken is going to be viewed with skepticism and suspicion.
