Fellow Adams County Pennsylvania,
(the rest of you can bare with it :))
I must write to defend our esteemed representative from the 91st district. After all, he didn't know that he was supposed to actually do something FOR the voters of Adams County when he went to Harrisburg. He has been just doing as the leadership in the House tells him. He didn't know when he got elected that he was supposed to bring his spine. They told him they would provide one for him.
I feel sorry for him really. I mean, how was he supposed to know that if he went along with the other representatives and stole money from the people of PA that he was going to have to give it back?
He thought he'd simply show up for work, sit and watch the leadership fluff their feathers (72 days a year) and then collect his perks. He didn't know there would be a test.
Let's let Steve off the hook ok? - Let him slither back home and get a job doing something he's qualified to do... I think 7-11 is hiring for the night shift.

Wow... Gene all I can say is that I think you need to rediscover your former friend. Maybe he did have the best of intentions back then in the 1900's but I've come to know the Steve Mailand of the late 1990's and 2000's and he is very much a cronie of the establishment. He's had many opportunities to show he is worthy and he's failed miserably. He's forgotten the real entity that controls Harrisburg and that group is now pissed
You have got to be kidding. Chutzpah - (if that means full of crap then I agree)
Dan Moul (person who ousted him) is no better or worse - he hasn't been given the chance to show his character in office yet
I don't care if a person proclaims to be a conservative. It is not by words that a person shows his true colors but by action.
