BLURRED COMMANDMENTS

It never ceases to amaze me just how far some folks will go to remove all forms of religious expression from the public arena, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is NO different. Case and point:

In the Chamber of the State Supreme Court, located in the Main Capitol Building in Harrisburg, behind where the Justices sit, is an outstanding murial of the Ten Commandments. Each year a booklet is produced on the History of the Court and has a picture of the current Justices. So you might ask---What's my problem with all of this? Well here's the answer--fasten your seat belts!

In this year's publication, the text of the Ten Commandments has been deliberetly blurred out so that it could not be read. This is not only outrageous, it denys over two centuries of Christian principles that laid the foundation for our State and our Country.

The Founder of "Penn's Woods" William Penn, referred to our Great Commonwealth as a "Holy Experiment." I wonder what his reaction would be at this latest demonstration of the so-called separation of church and state?

There is no doubt in my mind, and there should be no doubt in anyone else's mind for that matter, that the Ten Commandments have laid the very foundation for our moral and civil laws that we know today. To obscure the text of the Commandments in this manner is an affront to the sacrifices that our Founding Fathers made at the birth of our Nation.

WAKE UP PENNSYLVANIANS & AMERICANS BEFORE WE LOSE THOSE FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES THAT SO MANY GAVE THEIR LIVES TO ESTABLISH, AND WHICH WE NOW TAKE SO MUCH FOR GRANTED!!
