Pope Offends Muslims

Why is it that anything at all that is said, regardless of what context it is used, offends Muslims? Why should we give a crap. Radical Muslims are just looking for an excuse to start a "War of Religion" with the West and look for any step (misstep or not) to fuel the fire.

"It is not helpful (because) we" (Muslims) " have been trying to bridge the gap, calling for dialogue and understanding between religions." - Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam said on Thursday. Just what is it exactly that you are doing to bring about this understanding Ms. Aslam? Beheadings? Car Bombs? - It seems you are more inclined to scream "I'm offended" anytime anyone even mentions Islam or its history.

Christians have had people poking at the foundation of their faith for years, trying desparately and deliberately to bring it down and to show it as falacy. Do you see us beheading people for it or shouting blasphemer! - maybe we should be but our God is a God of forgiveness and love not death and destruction.

Many Muslims are calling for Pope Benedict to apologize for his comments this week in Germany. Apologize, FOR WHAT? - We are forbidden from quoting history now?

I have said for years that Christians better get their act together because as many have forcasted there will be a time of persecution. If you can't see the pattern forming, (AntiAmerican Sentiment, AntiChristian Everything, pornography, witchcraft, the breakdown of the family, abortion) - Those of us who have been lax in our faith have very few precious moments left to make it right with Christ, a true repentence because there possibly may come a day when your given the choice - "Convert!" or "Die!" - What will you chose to abandon; Christ or this earth?
