It has been a while but I thought I'd check in on my child to see how it is doing and I'm glad to see that Mr. Bowie and the dear Ms. Emily are keeping her fed. My apologies but with all the running around I haven't had a moment to put a paragraph together. There is certainly not a loss of things to discuss though, I'm sure our friends of the democratic persuasion would agree. After all their Christmas wishes came true a month early. Congratulations on your wins. Now prove to me and other persons who disagree with you ideologically that you were right all along and can govern honestly, with respect of our laws & constitution (the written one, not the one on your magna-doodle that changes with the wind or a wag of the dog's tail).
There is a certain unfamiliarity about the loss of congressional control by the so-called "Conservative" republicans but to be completely honest I'm not that completely upset about it. This is what happens in a democratic society when those entrusted with its' keeping turn they're backs on the people they represent, or at least it should.
Republican "leaders" have shown themselves NOT to be the kind of people that even true-blue republicans want to associate with. What's most important at this time of lament is that better men and women step up to the plate and return the party back to the roots that made it the majority in the first place; true conservative leadership both on the fiscal and social fronts, lowering taxes, protecting the constitution from assault, lowing spending and removing the fat from the govenor's budget (no offense to his chefs they don't like cutbacks either :))
It all comes down to a very simple concept. We can all be from different ends of the political spectrum; have vastly different ideas on how to go about leading but if we don't find some way to come to the table then we simply stand toe-to-toe and push on each other...back and forth, resulting in a big hole which I will suggest is where all our tax money is going.
Thanks to all - and Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakah, Joyful Kwanzaa and any other celebration going on at this time of year. The list seems to get longer and longer doesn't it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS * MERRY CHRISTMAS - (getting them in while I still can)
