"NEW" MAJORITY IN CONGRESS IS CLUELESS

I've been thinking about this posting for some time, and I've recently come to the conclusion that the "new" Democratic "Leadership" in Congress just doesn't get the bigger picture as it concerns the war on terrorism. The simple fact is this: Either we fight them on their soil, or we fight them on American soil. And while the attacks of 9/11/2001 were horrific, the devastation that will be visited upon the United States in the next "salvo" launched by the terrorists will be unthinkable.

I am reminded of a quote given by Dr. David Jeremiah, in his message on the 9/11 attacks--he said: "WE FIGHT THE ENEMY AND WE WIN!!"

While the plan announced by President Bush to send an additional 21,000 troops to Iraq has drawbacks, and I confess that I'm a little skeptical about this strategy myself, I'm also willing to give my Commander-In Chief the benefit of the doubt and believe that we should give this plan a chance to work. I also think it is counterproductive for our so-called Congressional Leaders to publicly condemn the President without doing the same. The security of our Nation deserves and should expect nothing less.
