Spector and Platts - a wonderful couple of RINOs

Please contact your representatives and tell them how wonderful you think it is that we are going back to Jimmy Carter era gas shortages and price manipulation! - I thought you'd all like this.. My letter to "The Honorable" Todd Platts.

Re: H.R. 1252

Representative Platts:

Todd, I was going to send you an irate letter in regards to your asinine vote on HB 1252 to allow Nancy Drew the ability to bring more of her touchy feely liberal bunk on us but I thought it was a waste of my breath ....

Please save me some of my taxpayer money and do not attempt to placate me by sending me yet another of your useless form letters telling me how concerned you are about the people of the 19th district and their concerns. It's a load of crap (you know it and I know it) so let's just get to the point.

You are a politician. Every day you show more soundly the lengths that you will go to to hold on to your career in Washington. Even if that requires that you all out abandon your party and the principals of smaller government, less beauacracy and intrusion, lower taxes, and beating back the liberal agenda. You are the epitome of a RINO. Sure, you claim a conservative voting record, that one was easy you were in the majority and frankly didn't have to stand for any principal. You had the backing of the political elite and influence. NOW you have the opportunity to show what you are made of and we find you siding on a regular basis with the liberals.

I abhor your lack of resolve. You abandon your President on Iraq, on abortion, and now on taxes. What's next Todd? will we see you running as a democrat? - We both know the answer to that ... you don't have to you can keep fooling Central Pennsylvania into thinking your still a staunch conservative and vote with whomever will keep you in your office chair. Pathetic Todd.

Let me give you some advise. Mr. Steve Maitland thought he could pull that crap in our statehouse and I think we both know how that went for him. If you don't return to representing the TRUE interests of the Pennsylvanians who sent you there, both YOU and Mr. Specter can join him in the unemployment line. Come to think of it - that's a good place to connect with your constituents - you're putting more and more of them there and you'll see how it feels

Well done, CV-I couldn't have written a better letter myself. BTW, haven't you always found it amusing how folks become "honorable" when they are elected to Congress or the State Legislature? I know I do!
