There is one word that I have always had trouble with and that is the word MANDATORY. The very utterance of such a word has a rigid sense of finality. I suppose the Administration and the proponents of Act 72 in the Legislature are of the opinion that if School Districts will not blindly go along with this billion dollar fleecing of Pennsylvania's taxpayers, we'll ram it down your throats, just as they did in the General Assembly. Quite frankly, such utter arrogance makes me sick! Members of the Legislature should be angry and so should the residents and taxpayes of our great Commonwealth.
Unless I have forgotten my history, when a Government tries to force policies on its citizens, that is the beginning of totalitarinism.
Let's get with the program--The Government is answerable to the PEOPLE, not the other way around.
