THE GOVERNOR JUST DOESN'T GET IT!!

HELLO MR. RENDELL--JUST WHAT PART OF THE WORD NO DO YOU NOT COMPREHEND?
80% of the Commonwealth's 501 School Districts told you that they did not want any part of Act 72 and you still persist in trying to ram this money down our throats. Please tell me--has Pennsylvania become a dictatorship or do we still have a democratic form of government where the people have a say is what happens in our State?

Just what is it you are afraid of any way? Is it perhaps if you put this ludicrous proposal to a vote of the people, where it rightly belongs, you might get your head handed to you again? Is that why you want the General Assembly to do your dirty work? In case you haven't noticed, our esteemed Legislature has got their hands full already with an angry constitutiency over their underserved pay raise, and their "unvouchered expenses." Let's not overburden them with too much controversy, it may be more than they can handle.

There is little doubt that the people of Pennsylvania want property tax reform-REAL PROPERTY TAX REFORM, but this heavy-handed totalitarian approach just is not going to get the job done!

Give the citizens of this Commonwealth a little credit, Governor, and let US decide, at the polls, what type of property tax reform is in our best interest. AFTER ALL, IN THE LONG RUN--GUESS WHO IS GOING TO BE PAYING THE BILL?????
