"Prepare Ye", "Sleep Not for you know not the time"

The title of this post takes the liberty of borrowing religious reference to apply to our country's present and future. America, please arise from your slumber. You will are missing the decline and fall of the American experiment. I truly thought that it would be my children who would be the unfortunates, now I can say in full voice that it is we, who are watching the America of our forefathers burning to ruin.

Our judicial branch tramples mightily on the constitution with every new self-proscribed ruling lacking any constitutional foundation. Our legislators go unchecked by the voters when taking liberties which are no longer borderline larcenies, they are full-fledged felonies. Our Executive branch makes war without the congress's declaration and 'We the People' stand idolly by watching in amazement due to our complete ignorance of the process.

In Pennsylvania the legislation decided that it hadn't enough money in 2003 to continue to pay for programs, thus deciding there was no other alternative and must raise the state income tax from 2.8 percent to 3.14 percent. In less than 18 months it pondered whether it could possibly increase the MINIMUM wages for Pennsylvanians in light of the budget constraints and came to the conclusion it could not do that not possible,..... later, in the middle of the night, it granted itself a 32 percent salary increase -... how much notice or say did the people of PA get - NONE!

Here yet again in California, the will of the people is ignored. The legislature has decided that it knows better and will act to revise Proposition 81, the freedom of marriage act, which specifically defines the law and a marriage as "Between a Man and a woman" to include gay marriage. This is a blatent coup d'etat. This legislature should be impeached from top to bottom and the state militia should physically remove them from their offices at the direction of the people.

Unfortunately, this won't happen because the schools and universities of California have done such a successful job in stupifying the populous that no one has any clue that what they are doing is illegal. Good Job Berkley! - but in all reality - the rest of the liberal education machine has done so throughout our country.

Are we prepared for the next Civil War? Are you prepared to fight for your country - the real United States? - Think about it - the time is coming.

It is truly sad.
