Casinos, The Gambling of Pennsylvania

I was against the idea of Casinos going up all over Pennsylvania form the start. But what really got me going was when I learned one of them was going up in Lancaster city.

First off, Lancaster has a very Conservative Christian background that is too important to ruin by a casino. Though Biblically gambling itself is not a sin, it can become one once it becomes an addiction.

The list of people who are opposed to this and many of the other parlors in this state continues to grow to this day. Even Mayor Rick Gray has expressed opposition to it. He joins a diverse list of other politicians like Pete Schaub, Dick Shellenberger, and Joe Pitts just to name a few.

There are many reasons these Casinos should not be built. The most important ones have to be because of the crime and the extra expense that it’s going to cost to combat it. Along with the threat of addiction were people can lose everything that they own.

So Governor Rendell you can keep your Casinos out of Pennsylvania or it could end up just like the pay raise, it’s your choice
