Republican candidate for PA Governor Lynn Swann is going out of his way to claim that he shares the values of traditional conservatives, however the only issues discussed on his website is Roe v. Wade and the necessity of extending protections to the unborn and the ultimate overturning of the infamous 1973 decision which has legalized abortion on demand in the United States for the past 3 decades.
At a time when, not only our Commonwealth but our Nation is facing a grave moral crisis, most folks will find it hard to understand, as I do, the silence of an individual who calls himself a traditional conservative.
While I believe that Lynn Swann is the best and most qualified candidate to defeat "Fast Eddie" Rendell in November, I also believe that he must take a firm stand on issues such as physician assisted suicide, pornography, gambling and "gay marriage."
Continued silence by a major state-wide candidate on these critical issues does the voters and citizens of Pennsylvania a serious disservice.
