For as long as I can remember, Pennsylvania has been called the "Land of Taxes" and now the Regime of "Fast Eddie Rendell" proposes to add another one known as "The Taxpayer Relief Act" (aka Act 1)--calling it a shifting of Property taxes by giving Pennsylvania School Boards the authority to enact either a Earned Income Tax or Personal Income Tax--Well that is if the VOTERS approve the binding referendum question that will appear on the May 15th Primary Election Ballot.
Here's a few thoughts to ponder before you go to the polls on Tuesday:
First of all, it has been my opinion for many years that School Boards should NEVER have been given taxing authority, and I see no reason to change that position.
Second, on May 15th voters have a clear opportunity to send a very LOUD MESSAGE TO FAST EDDIE AND FRIENDS--VOTE NO ON THE ACT #1 TAX SHAM!
SEE YOU AT THE POLLS ON TUESDAY MAY 15, 2007--MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR!!!
