WHO BAILS OUT THE TAXPAYER??

A ludicrous question?? I think not. Seems a rather reasonable one to me, because once again the American taxpayer is being asked to come to the rescue of the greedy and irresponsible. My simple question is this--Just how much longer does this go on unchallenged before the people of the United States throw up their hands in anger and disgust and say NO MORE??

Even more interesting questions are-- where were our so-called leaders, which includes President Bush, by the way, almost a year ago, or more when all this sh** hit the fan? Why wasn't the Congress and the President trying to figure a way out of this mess before we reached the disaster-stage we find ourselves in today?

Most important of all is WHO BAILS OUT THE TAXPAYER, when the dust clears, and all the irresponsible mortgage lenders and bankers got their golden parachutes, all on the backs of the American people?? Who bails out the homeowner who lost their home because of these actions of unmitigated greed and arrogance??

When do our so-called leaders in Washington step up to the plate and take steps to help the average homeowner from losing their home in the first place?? When does the interests of the American people outweigh greed, arrogance and irresponsibility?

The next President of the United States, as well as Congress, will have to deal with these and many other questions. Let's hope they make the right decisions, because the consequences of "business-as-usual" politics, are too frightening to contemplate.
