THE END OF AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT

I saw a bumper sticker while I was walking my dogs on Election Day. It read:

1-20-2009-The end of an error. The end of an error perhaps, but the beginning of a monumental disaster--A BARACK OBAMA PRESIDENCY!

I've been voting since I was 18 and while I have been disappointed at the outcome of a particular election, I have never been so disturbed and fearful as I am at this time. I am actually dreading the next 4 years under an Obama/Biden Administration.

Just for the record, let's see what we can expect from Barack Obama: Pro abortion, pro gay marriage, ANTI 2nd Amendment, pro embryonic stem cell research, determined to withdraw our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan within 16 months, and willing to sit down with the enemies of the United States with no pre-conditions.

I'll give Joe Biden points for one thing--he said that it wouldn't be long before there's an international crisis to test the mettel of "President" Obama, but I don't think it's going to take six months. It most likely will come during the first 100 days of his Administration.

What is the most perplexing to me is how a man who has had NO domestic or foreign policy experience, and actually NO leadership experience whatsoever, and who has only been in the United States Senate since 2005 can suddenly be qualified to lead the greatest Nation on the planet and command the most powerful military in the world. Being President of the United States doesn't come with on-the-job-training--it's not a learn as you go process.

Maybe that bumper sticker should have read: 1-20-2009-The end of America as we know it!!
