I have often thought about what it must have been like for the new Christians in a time of rule by those who were unbelievers; or worse who viewed them as 'radical'. I'm speaking not necessarily of the Apostles but more aptly the hundreds and thousands that they spoke to who came to believe on their word.

These people were ridiculed, spit on, physically assaulted, oppressed and imprisoned, forced to worship in seclusion; and finally (the 'lucky few') were killed for simply uttering the name of Jesus Christ.

Now fast forward to 2008 where over the past 232 years; a country founded on the teachings of Christ enjoys a liberty to praise him openly and to live their lives in the freedom of his peace. Be aware; this luxury may be fading. We are about to find out what it was like for those early Christians.
A government in America openly hostile to the Christian faith from all three branches. For all of Bill Clinton's moral flaws; his heart was always grounded in the patriotism and love of our Country; he also had a republican congress to keep him in check.

The liberal agenda has long been establishing itself in the Democratic party. Abortion, Gay rights, removing God from the national stage
with evil campaigns such as the attacks on the commandments and prayer in schools. If these events have missed your consciousness, you are a very sound sleeper.

This election is not about Republicans, Democrats, Independents; it is not about Black and white, Men or Women; it is about a socialist, evil taking over all three branches of our government simultaneously and having a blank check to alter the fabric of the United States into a godless nation. While we as Christians will not be gone; all moral representation will.

We will be forced to stand on our own two feet and rely on one another more than we ever have.

Here is what we can look forward to:
• An attempt will be made to silence the Catholic Church under the guise of
Separation of Church and State
• The media (already in the pocket of the liberals) will completely keep
information from getting into the hands of the public.
• Your faith and the practice of it will be questioned and viewed as more
important your patriotism - thus questioning your citizenship; your
patriotism.

This election is about our way of life. If we allow him to be elected; Barack Obama will do to the United States what 1400 9/11's couldn't possibly; he will change the very fabric of our flag, of our leadership from the inside. On this day, we will cease to be the United States of America as our constitution; a document which Barack Obama has demeaned...("A flawed document which is given much too much deference")....will be ignored and manipulated to assist the cause of socialism.

Don't sit back and do nothing.
1. GO TO THE POLLS AND VOTE for the only PRO-LIFE, PRO-FAMILY, PRO-CHRISTIAN candidate - John McCain.
2. MAKE SURE EVERYONE YOU KNOW - ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY AND CONFINED HAVE A WAY TO THE POLLS.
3. CALL your friends and relatives and make sure they vote.

PRAY.... Pray for the hearts of those 'Catholics' who have been mislead by the mantra 'CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE'; to be 'changed'
and for them to see that God's will cannot be accomplished in a man who 'does not see defending pregnant fetus's as a positive position'

PRAY.... Pray that God will intercede for our country and put it back on the course from which it was founded.

PRAY.... Pray that if it is God's will and Obama does become President that we; the faith community will have the strength
to stand up and fight him at every crossroad, in the fields, in the cities, in the heartland and most importantly; on the altar.

America was ordained by God as the shining city on the hill. The beacon of hope for all mankind.
America may be about to find out what our country is like when we abandon God. May he not abandon us. PRAY
